DRESS CODE:
We politely ask for everyone to dress Semi-Formal /Dressy causal. What's this mean?
WOMEN: can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, summer sundress, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the venue, we HIGHLY recommend (but not saying you can't ) women try to stay away from wearing heels! The Venue is not very High heel friendly (Grass, Gravel, Dirt, and a small hike from the Ceremony to reception). The bride will NOT be wearing heels ;)
MEN: should choose to wear dress pants, or khakis paired, with a collared button-down shirt, with the option (but not necessary) to also style their look with a tie or sports jacket.
At the End of the day, we just want everyone to be comfortable! :)
WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND THE RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
We luckily found a place that had it all! Our ceremony and the reception will both be held in the same location. Pleasantly Devine Stables located at 97 Maple Ave, Rock Tavern, NY 12575
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The Ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. We recommend everyone to arrive about 15-30 minutes earlier to allow everyone to visit the "Welcome" table, grab a drink and get seated before the precession starts!
PLEASE NOTE: Please don't arrive earlier then 3:30pm as the venue will not open up the guest parking lot until then!
WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK? IS PARKING FREE?
Upon arrival, you'll be directed to the second entrance that leads to the guest parking. Parking is free and there should be an abundance of parking available for our party size!
PLEASE NOTE: Guest parking lot will not be open until 30 minutes prior to the Ceremony.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We appreciate your understanding!
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The plan is to have the ceremony outdoors, in their "wooded" Ceremony site (weather Permitting). After the Ceremony, guests will be directed to walk a short distance to the covered overhang portion of the Barn (Patio) where the Cocktail Hour will be held. After the cocktail hour, the barn will be open for guest to enter where dinner and reception will be held.
DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND, I STAY?
At this time, we have NOT secured a block of hotel rooms. However, if there is enough interest, we will look into one. Meanwhile, we have added a list of recommendations for hotel options nearby. These can be found under the “Travel” section of this website.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
